Frequently asked questions
What age groups are eligible for your program?
We offer programs for ages 8 to 17, as long as there is a group of 5 or more within the same age range willing to come together, and a volunteer coach leading the way.
Where do we practice?
Our current locations for practice are Park District of Franklin Park Community Center, Leyden Community Center, and North Elementary. Time and dates are provided through the GameChanger app.
Where are games held?
We primarily play in Northbrook, IL at the Northshore Sportscenter, but we may also be scheduled to play in Waukegan, Romeoville, or Aurora.
If we miss a game during a season will we be refunded?
No, because games that are purchased and guaranteed carry over through seasons until the committments are met.
Is there a cost for attending a game as a family member?
Yes, players are free, but family and friends will have to pay an admission fee. It is usually around $10 for adults and $8 for children.
Can I participate even though registration is closed?
Yes, we offer a trial run during the season when registration is closed. If interested please send an email to franklinparklions@gmail.com
Can I be a coach?
Yes, simply select the Volunteer page under support and complete the form. All voluteers/coaches must complete a background check.
